I first discovered Shankari jewellery at the Claremont Expo in Perth around 1998. I bought 4 pieces at an investment of over $800. The most powerful talisman was the $400 south american rose quartz teardrop. Love was certainly absent from my life and I attracted a good soul into my life shortly after. We are still together and have the son I wanted for my whole life. My career also progressed and I attained the job of my dreams in Cairns managing human services. I also have an amethyst and citrine with a fusion of 2 crystals (yellow/purple. My wealth also increased. Shankari told me that I would receive a lot of attention when I wore her talismans and I have literally been stopped in the street by admirers of the jewellery, particularly in Cairns. They certainly attract attention and people are quite in awe of the pieces. 2 of my pendants are particularly stunning aesthetically. I feel more confident when I wear my talismans having been born in Malaysia to Muslim and Catholic parents. I have grown up with prayer talismans to protect me and keep from harm or evil and keep me healthy. I also am inspired to be a better human being when I wear talismans and I feel the power of integrity, compassion, humility and humanity over vanity, self indulgence or the trapings of succcess. I came across Shankari at a Body Mind & Spirit festival years ago and it was the energy of her stall that drew me like a magnet. I was on a high around her stall and how it made me feel so had to have a piece of her work and I bought a ring with several stones that I was drawn to energetically and visually. Hi, I do not usually drink alcohol, perhaps one, maybe two glasses of white wine on a special occasion, and this is plenty to make me tipsy and wobbly. Whilst out one night, wearing my Shankari, I imbibed of 4 glasses of wine, 2 glasses champagne, liquers and liquer coffee. I truly thought I would suffer the next day! Surprisingly - I felt wonderful the next day. After speaking to my friends they told me that amethyst is good for cleansing the liver. Must have been working overtime on that night out.
